Katie is a Northern California native and longtime Truckee and Lake Tahoe real estate expert, proudly calling the Truckee–Tahoe region home since 1992. Raised in Orinda in the East Bay, she brings deep Northern California roots and more than 22 years of real estate experience to buyers and sellers throughout Truckee, Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Donner, and surrounding ski communities.
A multiple-time Truckee homeowner and new construction home builder, Katie works closely with her husband, Ryan of Whiteface Builders, giving her unmatched insight into new construction, luxury homes, neighborhood market trends, schools, local businesses, and year-round recreation. Her career has been heavily focused in the resort and second-home market, where her local knowledge and hands-on building experience help clients make confident, informed decisions.
Known for her joyful, relationship-driven approach, Katie values long-term client partnerships and takes pride in guiding both full-time residents and vacation-home buyers through the unique Truckee–Tahoe real estate landscape. She is deeply connected to the community she serves and is grateful to live and work in this close-knit mountain region.
Outside of real estate, Katie fully embraces the Truckee–Tahoe lifestyle. She enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, and paddle-boarding, and values the simple joy of neighborhood gatherings and time with friends and family. Deeply committed to giving back, Katie actively supports local philanthropy, including the Shane McConkey Foundation Eco-Challenge, and is an engaged member of her community church, reflecting her strong connection to the people and places that make this region special.
